A Personal Note From Katie:
Oh, joy. In the midst of chronic illness and a most challenging season of life, this feeling was one of the difficult for me to consistently access and, therefore, paint. But, once it came, flow state followed quickly after. Two things I find interesting about Joy specifically 1. it has the most layers of color in the collection 2. it mimics grief more than its counterparts Peace and Gratitude.
