Growing up as a creative, I decided to get back to my roots and pick up my paintbrush to put the feeling on paper. The piece was painted mostly in front of the glow of my Christmas tree and under the supervision of my trusty sidekick (and furry manager), Mr. Bill. While the depths of grief are felt through this piece, I want to call your attention to the very intentional detail of 'gold' \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003ehighlights (better seen in the original vs. print) throughout.
